Small Update and Follow Me on Social Media!

I have been very busy this summer, in part due to taking a church history class on American Fundamentalism and Evangelicalism from Maranatha Baptist Seminary. That is part of why there has not been much blogging going on of late. I do have a paper I have been writing regarding the relationship of young-earth creationism and fundamentalism, and I hope to be able to share the material some time in the future.

However, I would like to be sure you know that I do post small thoughts on my Facebook page and Twitter feed. Be sure to like and follow them respectively if you would like to! Also, feel follow my blog and subscribe as well.

This week I am looking forward to two events. First, on Wednesday and Thursday I will be attending the Council on Dispensational Hermeneutics 2017 at Clarks Summit University in PA as an observer. The theme will be “Dispensationalism and the Glory of God”, with several papers being presented around the theme of Charles Ryrie’s third essential of dispensationalism, known as the “doxological purpose of human history.” After this meeting, I will be heading to a Men’s Retreat at Longview Camp in western NY, about an hour south of where I live. The theme of this retreat, called a “Character Retreat”, will be on humility and teachability, and I look forward to spending this time  with fellow men from my church and other churches in my area as well. I hope for my faith to be strengthened and encouraged during these two events, and I also hope to have some fellowship with others as well. God bless you!
